I absolutely love the Android for WordPress app I found by searching for “Droid WordPress app” and downloading the app on a site that had Android in the URL.
Here is the Droid WordPress app I use all the time now and love:
I am laying flat on my back typing this post into my Droid 2 phone and writing this without having to open my laptop at all.
All I did was download a free bar scanner app from the Droid marketplace that had a great amount of stars and then scanned the free Droid for WordPress app by holding the bar code scanner thing that looks like you’re taking a pic up to my laptop monitor and that downloaded the lovely new free Droid WordPress app on my phone.
Yes, the Droid WordPress app takes html
I do believe it will even take html, it does, because I saw some message say html activated or close to that wording. I just published this post and went back to edit it and it is showing up in html, which I am very comfortable writing in. In fact, I plan to write many books this way because the Kindle takes html code. I can create plenty of content on my sites, publish the posts then go back and use all that html coded stuff to publish in books on Kindle.
I just came back to edit it one more time. Turns out when you don’t close your header tag correctly on the Droid for WordPress app it acts just like normal when you forget your slash in the real wordpress menu. This is amazing.
My productivity is going through the roof with my profits over this one.
Not only does the wordpress for Droid app allow users to update their free wordpress blogs, it also allows us to publish blog posts to our self-hosted wordpress.org websites.
Droid for WordPress app photos
We can upload pics from our photo gallery on our Droid phones or take a new pic or even take a video and upload it. Either way, you select the media button in order to insert photos and/or videos into your post.
This is sweetness..
…and it comes in perfect time to write about product reviews I learned from my 50over50K.com people.
All the bells and whistles of WordPress..
The Droid for WordPress app lets us put labels in just like working on our pc, and lets us apply bold, italics, blockquote, hyperlink our links and lets see what else.
My next post I plan to insert some header tags and see what’s up. Okay, if the Droid for WordPress photos subhead is big and bold above, header html tags are working!
And, if all that weren’t great enough, we can also use the Droid for WordPress app to publish, preview or save as draft our posts… and we can writes pages as well!
I love it.
We can also moderate our comments… all from our phone.
I am unstoppable, in Jesus’ name and will. I hope they make the save button more distinguishable in the next update. And perhaps a word count if they don’t already have it somewhere in this app.
Bravo, app creators, bravo!!!
