I just listened to Time Waits For No One
While the media has been wearing out Thriller (which I never really liked anyway) and Human Nature (which I did like) — I’ve been pinning away and waiting for them to play Time Waits for No One.
Alas, I didn’t catch them playing it, so I sought it out on YouTube.
Listening to it on the day of Michael Jackson’s funeral is especially poignant. Time indeed, waits for no one. I didn’t know the song was on the Jackson’s Triumph album. I guess it first came out in 1980 when I was 11 years old. I’m glad someone put it on YouTube:
