The Game Cancelled - What Now?I saw searches for “The Game Cancelled” and found out via the Chicago Tribune, that yes, the popular CW show The Game has been cancelled.


I hadn’t watch The Game in a while, but didn’t know it would be cancelled this soon by The CW.


I’d just blogged about where to watch the full episode of The Game’s season finale — the wedding episode — which turns out just may be the series finale if they don’t bring The Game back to the CW for at least a resolution episode.


I think they did that with Girlfriends, didn’t they? Didn’t the fans write in and protest and at least get a series-ending resolution to Girlfriends? Maybe it’s time for The Game fans to start hitting up CW execs for at least a resolution episode.


We’ll see what’s mean to be.

It has been a long time since we have been entertained at home on a Friday night by a t.v. show. It is nice to be able to sit at home and chill with the family. The game should not be cancelled and actually this show should be on for aleast an hour.

I have a family member who plays a role on The Game and we’re very upset for him. Please tell us what to do to keep this on. It was soooo… good…….. It should’ve been a TV drama show for 1hr.

Well this should be no surprise to any of us. At least they gave us a good season finale. I cried it was so good. I’m so sad it has ran it’s course, I too think it’s much too good of a show to cancel and it should last an hour. The half hour is really like 15min. Let’ all protest can we have at least one black show we love.

The Game is a very good black show that tells about what goes on in real life if they cancelled the show they need to bring it back if they dont i will no longer like cw and will nolonger watch that channel bring back THE GAME.

I agree I watched all the the full episodes again and the show was really good. I know everybody I know was watching the show. I think they should take off the new 90210 because it’s boring, Gossip Girl seems too fake to me the acting is not all that great!

I am so upset that The Game has been cancelled!!
The casting directors/agents did a superior job casting the characters!! The cast and the writers of The Game are PHENOMENAL!!! I am not seeing the problem. The viewers want The Game back on the air!!

We want to know what happens after Derwin hears the news that Janae is pregnant and opens the door to see Melanie standing there!

We want to see the relationship with Tasha and Rick unfold!!

We want to see if Kelly and Jason patch things up in their marriage!
I want to see Malik and Tee Tee and BritBrat aka Brittany!
Please, just call the entire cast back to do another season!

I love the game its my fav show on the cw.. I love it cuz not too many shows have a mostly all black cast..It’s a drama,comedy that actually keeps u intrested. If the show was an hour I would deffintaly watch it.. Put it bak on the air..

I am very upset that the Game will no longer be on t.v I watch the show more then I watch my daily soaps. I look forward to seeing it. I want another season of The Game. I think that producers are trying to make no money, why cancle a show that has millions of viewers. All Those other stupid ass shows need to be booted off and bring back The Game. I am with the rest of The Game fans, they should not cancellled it. There aren’t may Black t.v. shows as it is, and they have already cancelled Girlfriends what else is there to watch on Friday nights. The line up that the CW have for the fall is not quite what I expected. I only watched the CW network on Fridays just to see Everybody Hates Chris, and The Game’,and America’s Next Top Model. So I’, asking The CW to PLEASE BRING BACK THE GAME!!!!

i think that the show THE GAME needs to be brought back on because it explains the everyday struggle that people face, and that life keeps going on and that you never know whats to be expected. Especially the stupid CW cancelling all the black shows. Black people being a minority need to be embraced. I mean really the freakin prez is black but the CW don’t seem to understand that they are getting all their ratings from teenagers. Yup I said it. They all watching Gossip Giral and that white crap thinking its ok to be a little slut and act caddy with other girl. That is why are future is turning into one big piss hole. At least THE GAME had some type of integrity promoteing GOD and handling your responsibilities. I mean really were not all filthy rich like on GG and can afford to pay somebody off to keep their mouth shut. OH and when the show is brought back on BET the channel it needs to be on getting the recognition they deserve as actors the CW is about to be embarassed as HEll. Black Entertainment Television (BET) is reportedly bending over backwards trying to land CW’s cancelled series “The Game.” The network says the entire cast is on board for a fourth season but licensing issues stand in the way. “BET is doing everything it can to acquire the rights to Mara Brock Akil’s The Game,” a source at the cable network tells TVGuide.com.

“The licensing issues are very complicated,” says our source. Earlier this year, BET acquired the rights to run repeats of the Girlfriends spin-off.

Sources tell us that the idea of BET stepping forward and saving The Game actually came from the show’s cast. If picked up by BET, however, The Game would stick to its half-hour comedy roots.
