First of all any death is sad. Second of all, judge not lest ye be judged. He without sin cast the first stone. Not you writing here can stand before a mirror and say you did nothing wrong. By the mere fact of your judgemental words you are, according to the bible, sinning! If he was still with his wife he was wrong for what he did but none of you are God. If she committed this act then she shall be spending the rest of eternity in hell and that is not the place anyone wants to be. I guess I see death all the time and I know that it means a soul has gone on to eternity. Those of you who stated those foul words and judgemental words, according to the bible, if you would’ve died the moment you stated them you too would be in the same hell as she is. No one knows what was said or done between the two of that lead up to this point. May God have mercy on them and their families.

I live in Nashville, and it is known that Steve loved his wife very much. I don’t believe that he told that young lady he was getting a divorce. That’s probably what she WANTED, but I don’t believe it. He started dating her in January and it’s well know that Steve has been married for years.I bet he was going to break it off with her because she was getting too attached, and that’s when she killed him. Mechelle McNair is a sweet and educated woman. Those photos do her no justice because she’s beautiful. I can’t believe he would leave her and marry a 20 year old high school dropout. She would not fit into the his image or lifestyle at all. They were just having fun and she couldn’t handle it.

In my opinion, anyway you look at the situation it is truly a loss. Every party loses. The wife, children, husband, and girlfriend. The Bible states that the wages of sin is death but because we do things and don’t suffer the consequence right away we really don’t take it to heart but it is very true. What I hope and pray is that the family and friends are able to cope with what has taken place and move forward somehow.
I think what we’ll find is that the ex-boyfriend, who has a volatile temper (like many men from that region), dropped by and found them together, shot Steve in the chest, then thought “wholly crap”, I am going to prison. Proceeded to shoot the marriage wrecker. Then pumped a few more shots into Steve’s head (for good measure) after seeing his dead girlfriend. Propped up the body and put the gun underneath. Rare that a body would fall on the gun, but a killer would think that makes it look like only she could have done it. Whole thing sucks but the punani makes men do some strange stuff.

When a black man – especially a seemingly “good” black man, cheats on his woman/wife with a white woman (Irainian isn’t black) it’s saying to us “black isn’t good enough”. To all who are saying this isn’t a black/white issues. You are right, but you are also wrong. It’s about this man who cheated on his family – openly – and got caught. In fairness it appears that he and his wife were seperated, only a fool would openly date and court and vacation with another person while commitedly living with their spouse. However, married is married. He wasn’t free to be with that “woman” until he was officially divorced. The fact that she was white, DOES intensify this situation because it’s like, he had a black wife, four black kids and had an affair with a 20 year old white (or mixed or whatever, but she wasn’t black) woman. Steve McNair has a beautiful wife. Hard to see why he chose to sack a 20 year old gooney bird. Yes, gooney bird because that is what she looks like, check out her nose. A 36 year old man has no business with a person just coming out of adolescent. No real sense of responsibility yet, probably can’t even balance a checkbook, just infatuation with a big rich athlete and probably not much older than his kids. Out of all of the blogs that I just read, I couldn’t agree with anyone more than I agree with more than Cheryl Nelson. We all know right from wrong, but God is our judge. And I thank him for that! I think every one is here for a reason and in everything there is a lesson. Someone somewhere will hear this story and make a better decision. People talk about the person he was, I’m sure he did other things that we know nothing about, but people are not judging him for those. The bible says no sin is greater than the other and God will forgive us for them all. We’ve all sinned, so we are no better than he is. We just have the opportunity say we’re sorry. I believe if Steve were here he would do the same. I see the good in people, but always know that their going to make mistakes.
I pray that his wife and kids in time remember that their husband and father was but a man that made a mistake. A mistake that he didn’t live to say he was sorry for. Remember the good times! Judge not, for we will be judge. I can not agree with Steve’s action that has come to light. However, you can not take away from the fact he was a humantarium that truly loved people. Trust my spirit, that was so real. He was an awesome, wonderful, and giving man that made the wrong choice when tempted. Therefore, his life is gone,but always remember for the good that he did!!!! First of all this is a very sad situation. I feel so sorry that his children will now grow up without a father. Imagine how these kids are going to feel when they are completley aware of the circumstances outlying their father’s death. This is a sad situation. But, unfortunately women of his Sahel’s class level only see dollar signs at a man like Steven Mcnair. There are women who make a career out of chasing professional atheletes and stooping to any level to get him in their grips. As low as trying to create a pregnancy after the fact. What these women need to do is get themselves educated and realize that it is important to obtain your own success. My father always taught me a man can walk away so you have to be able to stand on your own. These are words that I live by and that is why I have a BA and a Masters. I was also a woman in his wife’s shoes being the last person to know that your spouse was cheating. But, see some women feel like they have won something when they take a man from his . But, what one must remember is the way you get a man is the way you lose a man. Money isn’t everything and isn’t worth your dignity. Sahel was disrespectful because she knew the man had a wife. It’s very unfortunate Mechelle will now be a single parent rasing 4 boys without their father. As a wife and mother myself, I feel deep sorrow for her and their family. Steve McNair was great on the footbal field, but obviously lacked moral and spiritual convictions. I hope this is a learning experience for other players that frequently involve themselves in affairs with groupies and opportunists. Men (and women) need to be reminded that “what’s done in the dark will eventually come to light” for you truly will reap what you sew. I’m pretty sure the BRUTAL DEATH he suffered was not worth the 20 year old piece of ass.

Let’s look at this logically…A 16 year old from a war-torn country whose parents died there moves to Florida to live with an aunt…then at age 16 moves with her then teenage boyfriend to Nashville, waitresses at Dave and Busters…then meets this celebrity and starts dating him; he buys her a car and gives her a place to live…she’s got it all. Why would she kill him? Perhaps because she found out that she was only one of many he cheated with and he was never going to leave his wife for her. She was likely humiliated and simply committed an honor killing (murder-suicide). What I find confusing is the fact that no one in the complex hear six gunshots at sometime between 1 and 3am…Could have also been a hit. In either case, the real losers are the the children.

He wanted a little something-something on the side, and reaped what he sowed — DEATH. Obviously this girl was deeply distured. She moved to Nashville at age 16 with her 19 year-old boyfriend. A server at Dave & Busters who had NO education. She wanted fame, and unfortunately, she got it!

It sad for everyone involved. It is not about being black or white. I do believe as a married man he should have worked it out with his wife. Divorce is not the only option. However; if it has come to that they should get divorce first. As a female why would you want a man to leave his wife and four children. Is it for the money? Is it for love?
