Spanx swimwear – The slimming swimsuits women are searching for…
According to Google, nearly 7,000 searches per month come through for “Spanx swimwear,” and as the weather grows warmer and more people learn about the new Spanx line of swimwear, that number will no doubt be multiplied 1,000 times.
Spanx entire swimwear line on Amazon
The demand for “slimming swimsuits” is a natural fall-out to the popularity of the Spanx line, first introduced years ago when Sara Blakely didn’t like how her backside looked in a pair of pants as she embarked on a sales call, so she cut the feet out of her control-top stockings.
Blakely searched for years for a manufacturer that would “get” her product — and almost gave up, but then she saw Oprah say that she also cut the feet off her control top pantyhose, and that gave Sara the motivation to continue on with her Spanx line.
The new Spanx Swimwear line of slimming bathing suits
It’s poetic justice for all those folks who turned Sara down that they probably had to watch her on Oprah, as the talk-show queen declared her love of Spanx.
I wonder if Oprah will anoint this Spanx bikini top or other Spanx swimwear before her talk show season ends this 25th year.
Or, one of the other one-piece Spanx swimsuits in the new line, now appearing on Amazon.com in 2011, like this SPANX High-Style Bandeau 1 Piece Swimsuit, which appears to be my favorite of the new Spanx swimwear line thus far, even though I’ve yet to purchase any of them.
Perhaps by the time you’re reading this, I’ll own several of the kinda-pricey suits — and can come back and add my glowing reviews to Amazon.com.
People still type in “Spanx bathing suits”?
It’s funny that Google also notes that about 1,600 searches for “Spanx bathing suits” come in each month, which made me think to myself: Women still call them bathing suits?
Reminds me of when my niece corrected my sister — saying that they don’t call them bikinis anymore, but it’s more hip to say “a two-piece” instead. (Gotta check the searches on that one, too!)
Even though the Spanx bikini tops (which run from sizes 34 B/C to 36 DD) are still called bikini, and the SPANX Medium Coverage Bikini Swim Bottom still has bikini in that name.
The term “bathing suits” harkens back to the days of Esther Williams or something, of those “bathing beauties” swimming in full Technicolor make-up and frilly suits and caps and smiling as they skillfully dove in sync into the crystal blue swimming pool on those old movies.
Spanx swimsuit, swimwear reviews on the way…
About 170 per month type “Spanx swimwear review” into search engines, says Google.
But right now, Amazon.com doesn’t have any Spanx swimwear reviews written and published from actual customers. No review at all for the new Spanx swimsuit line, but you just know they are coming.
We’re on that exciting precipice of time when a hot new product is introduced, and the customer frenzy and purchases — and the resulting reviews — will soon fill the pages of Amazon from real buyers.
Until then, people like us will be the first to get in on the new Spanx one-piece slimming swimsuits like these, and benefit from being in the know from the jump.
Meanwhile, the Spanx bathing suits are already on sale on the official site as well as Amazon, for those folks who type in “Spanx bathing suits on sale” each day — though I know they are probably looking for coupons and discounts.
For those, we must Google “Spanx swimwear sale” and see if any good sales are introduced on some of the suits, like they did in June 2010.
Other searches include the “Spanx hi-rise swimwear bottom” and the “Spanx spanx swimwear skirtini bottom,” so here they are:
