Spanx swimming suits = A slice of Spanxing good swimsuit heaven?

The new Spanx swimming suits like these are all the rage, before most of us have even switched to shorts-wearing weather.

Well, it’s count-down to July for me and our family trip to Disney World in Florida, which, as of this writing, is still four months away.

Thank God I’m losing weight and that He’s got me back in the fruit-and-salad and off sweets habit high life again, and yet I am still looking a little lustfully at popping a Spanx swimsuit in my shopping cart just to see how they will look on me.

I’ve already written about how I think I owned and loved one of those Miracle Suits that suck in your gut — blessedly, not that I really have a gut.

But I do have a healthy butt, and thighs that are coming into order. I want them shapely enough to not have to retort to the cover-your-dimpled-skin kind of boy short swimming suit bottoms that I love.

If I want to throw on one of these pricey Spanx swimming suits, I like to have that option.

Besides, I put swimming suits to good use, seeing as though I’m generally in the pool or hot tub at least once a week at my lovely health club.

And for $198, it’d better be.

There are no customer reviews yet as I write this, so I may just rely on trust to pop that puppy in my shopping cart.

I am the type who would spend close to 200 bucks for a swimming suit — especially a Spanx swimming suit — because I know I will get more than my money’s worth out of it.

Plus, the Spanx swimsuit looks like it has a halter-style strap (no pics yet of the back of that Spanx swimsuit), and I love the way halter style suit provide an extra lift for boobs.

It’s a cute color and has a nice design, and the way the bottom is cut is inspiring me to get back in the gym and on the elliptical, treadmill, stairmaster and leg pressing two hundos again to shape up.

Plus, those bike rides with God on our local Towpath Trail (when I first moved to Ohio, I thought it was the “toe path” trail) and kick it back even farther than the 20 miles He helped me ride last year one day.

Yeah, I’m glad for the fortitude and fruit of self-control to give up sweets for Lent — and I pray that when Resurrection Sunday arrives that I switch to some eating plan that still takes me down to a thin and healthy and great-looking and feeling weight.

Sexy Spanx swimsuits for the over 30 crowd… or younger ladies who still want to be held in

This SPANX Woven Straps One-Piece Swimsuit in their newly launched swimwear line is actually pretty sexy — I mean, not string bikini sexy — but with that low-cut cleavage-showing top… I don’t know.

I wonder if this one would give me enough support up top.

The way it’s pictured, it looks like you need to have enough natural support to carry it off, unless you want to walk around free and easy and flapping in the breeze like a not-as-perky-as-I’d-like-to-be Joan from that show Girlfriends.

Spanx even sells individual separate swimming suit bottoms and tankini tops

Leave it to the Spanx lady to sell swimsuit bottoms, full coverage, like these.

She really has her finger on the pulse of what women want.

After all, plenty of us might prefer to buy a different sized bottom than top.

I hope they expand this Spanx swimwear line and that the sales of all of these expensive suits go through the roof.

I like the fact that the swimwear bottoms are full coverage. A lot of women want that, and don’t want to walk around in our thongs in public — preferring to save that treat for our hubbies at home.

The Spanx tankini tops to go with the bottoms…

So far, I see Spanx tankini tops like this one to go with those full coverage bottoms.

But they even have the SPANX Medium Bikini Swimwear Bottom if you don’t need full coverage, and trust your butt not to giggle and end up on some website like I saw a UK one criticizing Kate Moss for having cellulite.

Find just about the entire Spanx swimwear line that I could find there on Amazon — there are additional cover-ups and little skirts on the official Spanx site — which includes some other cute (and admittedly, not so cute) swimming suits.

I really think I’ll be buying one of these puppies, especially after I sell a ton of them and this Spanx swimwear line becomes more and more popular. But I feel comfortable recommending them because I’ve worn the Spanx undergarments and liked them — so I’d expect the swimming suits to be of great quality and fit as well.
