Here we go with what I’m hoping is just another internet rumor.

People are searching hard for…

“soulja boy mother” and…
“soulja boy mother died,”
“soulja boy mom,”
“soulja boy news,”
“soulja boy mom died,” and…
“soulja boy mother dies.”

Did Soulja Boy’s Mom Really Die?

Doubt that its true.

Here’s the route I took to try and verify the vicious story:

1 – First, figure out Soulja Boy’s real name: DeAndre Way

2 – Check Google News for valid news stories about DeAndre Way’s Mom or Soulja boys’ mom…Nada – and I’m not trusting those scraper blogs with all the “soulja boy’s mom died” titles.

3 – Next, figure out the difference between “Souljah” and “Soulja” boy …my goodness gracious…

4 – Lastly, hope that stupid “…watch me Superman dat ho…” line turns people off the damn Crank Dat song.

5 – Pray Soulja Boy’s mom is really okay, and curse those folks just wanting to start an internet rumor and who are probably only remembering the sad death of Kanye West’s mom.

Kanye was so broken up over that tragedy, let’s not give DeAndre Way a scare he doesn’t need…

I see no legitimate news reports saying that Soulja Boy’s mother died, so at this point, I believe it is a false internet rumor.
