Sarah Palin is fighting back at Huffington Post blogger Shannyn (not Shannon) Moore, threatening to sue the HuffPo blogger for libel and housegate rumors.

I have never in my life heard such a hateful person as Shannon Moore. I know she is really pissed because of what Sarah Paline did to her. You know——-NOTHING. Shannon is just a girl from homer who has a huge chip on her shoulder. She is so jealous of Sarah and her life. She has a VERY handsome husband that loves her, five beautiful children that adore her, a wonderful political career, very popular with the Repubicans, espically conservatives, ect. ect. Shannon Moore has a tiny little radio show with very few listeners. Plain and simple, she is jealous. Get over yourself Shannon and get a life. You are pitiful and ugly. Get your teeth fixed.
I’ve really got something to say to the narrow minded asshole Palin Haters. I’m so sick and tired of you’re attitudes and total intolerance for anyone who has personal standards and boundaries by which they use to guide their lives.
Most of you don’t have a clue about who Sarah Palin is. You have sold out and bought into a well orchestrated and well financed effort to destroy a good human being. You’d be surprised who her enemies really are: Big Oil, Corrupt people in high places with lots of money and lots of contacts and lots of influence. Probably not the kind of people you’d like or relate to very well, but people who know you better than you know yourselves. These are people who know exactly how to rattle your chain and use the right buzz words to get you all excited (Does “Christian” ring a bell? How bout “Pro Life? )
To those of you who write things like “Ahh, just smell the vitriol of good “christian” right wings wafting across the great divide” to those who’s posts are supporting Palin, let me just say:
First of all asshole, You don’t have a clue about what my religion is, nor do you know what the religion is of anyone else here unless they stated it. I could be a Jew, an Atheist, a Buddhist or a Muslim. I may worship the Easter Bunny. What ever it is, It’s none of your business and to me you are just a controlling bastard trying to meddle in other peoples lives. In other words, a busy body, which just happens to be the one thing I detest!
As for Sarah Palin being a Christian, I don’t have a problem with that. Every president we’ve ever had in this country claims the same. John Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Abe Lincoln, All of them. I’m a libertarian, so what does matter is whether are not they’re a busy body that wants to control my life. Like me Asshole, Sarah Palin is also a Libertarian. The only other true libertarian out there is Ron Paul and I like both of them. Coincidentally, they are the only two with convictions and honesty. Alaska it the most libertarian state in the union. Under her leadership, there’s a good chance that finally the archaic drug laws in this country will be changed and we’ll no longer the the country that locks up the highest percentage of it’s citizens in the free world.

After compassionate conservatives spent eight years defining “us” against “them” we are left with the divisive politics of hate. Shannon Moore is a reporter attempting to get at truth. The issue is that she has placed a hot wire on a wound that Palin does not want to see the light of day. After reading the blog posts of Moore regarding the sports complex, it is difficult to understand the threats. Moore reports on “rumors” as first suggested last October that Spenard Builders provided free supplies and labor for Palin’s support of their sports complex contracts. Since these issues don’t add up it makes sense for reporters to be curious. It’s called reporting, folks. I hardly believe that Palin’s threats are serious. Rather they are meant to place fear in the hearts of anyone who dares to ask pertinent questions. Honestly, if Palin freaks at this heat what would she do at a national level? Sue the New York Times on a daily basis? There seem to be many posts that suggest that the libs are afraid/scared of Palin and that is why she is derided. It is not fear, friends. We look at her as crazy and incapable of handling the heat in the kitchen.
Oh, and Ms Moore did not state a “political opinion”, she stated a “slanderous” opinion as if it was fact. That is not patriotic, truthful, or professional. It is called sensationalism. Which is using innuendo to create a buzz that most of the dems on this board would probably take as fact.
Again, the fastest way to get Sarah out of politics is to ignore her. But poor Shannyn can’t do that because Sarah is bringing in millions of viewers. Bashing Sarah is too lucrative. Shannyn is one of the MSM’s female stooges willing to put down a female politician to make her look bad. Shannyn the dupe is being used to keep women out of politics.
After listening to Ms Moore’s statement regarding the lawsuit, and viewing the caliber of the respondents supporting her on this blog, she obviously isn’t going to go much farther in her career.
All ethics charges have been dismissed as frivolous crap. There are numerous self proclaimed liberals all over the news forums stating that it is necessary to take out Sarah Palin by smearing her every chance they get. The USA Today, and Gallup poll state that even 3/4 of Democrats believe Sarah Palin is being bashed unmercifully be the media.
It is becoming sickening. Shannyn Moore and her ilk need to be taught a lesson. I hope Sarah goes after everyone of the people who filed frivolous (dismissed) ethics charges against her, and counter sues. They wasted everyone’s time for personal vendettas.
Ms Moore is guilty of using Sarah to further her career. If you don’t think someone should be in the spotlight, then stop putting her there. Ms Moore did not state an opinion, she stated facts in error and will hopefully be sued. Bloggers can’t be sued for their vile crap, but bloggers giving TV interviews can be.
I hope it costs Shannon Moore $500,000 to defend herself.

I am from Alaska and she is not popular anymore in this state. So many charges….All of them cannot be wrong…Her own party is bringing up most of the ethic charges….this is not the normal way of doing biz….she needs to continue fishing. Her star is burned out.
Just let Sarah get the mental health treatment she needs for her personality disorder to deal with her issues of narcissism, revenge, and paranoia. Her family needs her far more than the state she has ruined since taking office.

By the way, you’re correct in pointing out that Hillary took heat. I didn’t support her and she did complain about the media from time to time. She did not, however, sue anyone for defamation of character or libel.
Well, its interesting to listen to people who typically wrap themselves in the American flag and all it stands for when it comes to freedom speech. If Rush Limbaugh were being sued by a politician they disagree with, these same people would be unfurling the Bill of Rights and castigating the politician as a wimp. This speaks to the weakness of the courage of their convictions.
When you truly love our country, you accept dissenting opinions as difficult as that can sometimes be. THAT, my fellow Americans, requires courage. If you don’t, you are actually hostile to one of the cornerstones of democracy: plurality of opinion. Hostility to democracy is one of the cornerstones of a different type of government.
