PlusOne Communications Jobs in Akron, Ohio – Salary Pay Rate Below – Apply at the new call center at 1115 South Main Street in Akron…

I was just pretty amazed to see on the news that not only is Cleveland getting a new gazillion-dollar Jacobs Aquarium next summer in 2010 — but PlusOne Communications just revealed that they are hiring up to 1,500 people for new jobs for their new unlike-other-call-centers-call-center in Akron, Ohio!

Things are looking up for this area, and I pray that transfer of the wealth from the wicked to the righteousness continues.

Watch a video about the jobs coming to Akron, which will pay $25,000 to $100,000 per year:

To apply for the PlusOne Communications jobs in Akron, Ohio…

WKYC says that “Applications for PlusOne are being made available at the site of the new call center at 1115 South Main Street in Akron.”

Not sure if people are there all day giving out applications or what, but if you’re Jonesing for a job, I’d say get down there ASAP and pray.

PlusOne Communications Salary and Pay Rates in Akron, Ohio…

The Cleveland Plain Dealer breaks down the pay rate and salaries as such:

“…In addition to market-rate salaries, from $25,000 to $30,000 for cubicle workers, $35,000 to $45,000 for managers and $60,000 to $100,000 for upper managers, employees will receive health benefits.”

That sounds so great to me — and I hope it really pans out. Since the “Plus” in PlusOne is named for our current Mayor Plus-quellic-however-you-spell-it, who is facing possible recall soon, some are saying this is a PlusOne ploy for us to give him our vote against the recall.

Well, unless I feel led to go with Warren Mendelson’s charge against the mayor, Mr. Plus-man probably has my vote to stay in Akron. Keep up the good news, God!

  1. I was just in your office and filled out the appropriate forms and tests. I was struck at the professionalism of Christine at the front desk and the young lady downstairs administrating the typing test, etc. I would like to re-iterate my interest and repeat my qualifications. I have the history and particularly the speech training, and customer service to exceed your expectations. I know the relevance of equanimity, keeping composure under stress! I can perform effortlessly and be persuasive in presentation. I know I would be a fine addition to your staff. Regards and thanks for your consideration, Richard Strecker.

  2. I applied & did have a first interview. I know I could be an asset to your company. I am very driven, determined, & dependable. I would appreciate the chance provided for a second interview. Thank you for your time.
    Sincerely,
    Barbara A. Specht

  3. MY SON GOT HIRED LAST WEEK, TRAINING THIS WEEK. HE FILLED OUT AN APP. HAD ONE INTERVIEW, WAS TOLD THEY WOULD CALL FOR A SECOND.

THEY WERE IMPRESSED WITH HIS RESUME, APPEARANCE, AND EVERYTHING HE SAID SO INSTEAD OF A SECOND INTERVIEW THEY JUST CALLED AND TOLD HIM HE WAS HIRED AND WHEN TO COME IN FOR TWO WEEK TRAINING. THEY DO PAY FOR THE TRAINING ALSO.

HE LOOKS FORWARD TO MOVING UP IN THIS COMPANY FAST AS HE HAS A LOT OF EXPERIENCE. FRESH OUT OF COLLEGE, DEGREES AND ALL.

Best of luck to everyone who applies.

  4. I would like to know if you already took the test and never got a call back do you take the test over again? I know how to work a computer but on the test it was stuff on there that I wouldn’t know about a computer. So does that disqualify you for a job there? These are questions that everyone should be asking because I was so confused about the whole thing. I have over 15 years of experience in customer service and never had a chance to fill out an application.

  5. I don’t know their contact number. I don’t work for PlusOne Communications, but their address is above.

  6. I just wanted to say that I went in and was given the test the same day. I also was scheduled for an interview and then a second interview and now I am hired and to start in a week. I have worked in call centers before. The people here are very nice and from what I understand the business is booming and they aregrowing by leaps and bounds. So if you need a job I would say go for it. You wont be sorry I am sure of it.

  7. I just got hired as an IT Service Rep here (entry-level position) and start training next week. It seemed to me they were looking for at least moderate computer experience.

I got scheduled for an interview after emailing my resume through Craigslist, but both times I was in the office I observed walk-ins who were allowed to take the test and fill out an application.

The pay starts at $9/hour, with a 50c raise after 60 days and another 50c after 90, and a possibility of monthly bonuses up to $350 for meeting various deadlines and quotas.

My suggestion is, go for the test during the hours posted previously, and ask for the appropriate contact number there in case you want to follow up.

  8. Still haven’t heard anything about the job openings, training, or being able to even take the test!

  9. My daughter just started training on Monday. She is set for training for 30 days at $9.00/hr. $.50 raise after 30 days and possibilities for monthly bonuses. She is a full-time student, so she will only be working part-time. I belive she said there were 26 people in training on Monday.

  10. Went in for the test and was told that i couldn’t take the test at the time due to the fact that I have experience. Then they asked me for three references which I was prepared for and provided a list of about 15 typed. After this point I was told i would be contacted within 3 days. So i decided to also leave a resume since the initial application wasn’t very detailed. But due to the number of applicants and no listed phone number, haven’t heard anything or been able to check on the application itself……But you must try, try again! Time for another approach!

  11. Oh yes, and if you filled out an application at PlusOne Communications and have heard back or haven’t heard back — leave a comment.

I’m not affiliated with PlusOne Communications, but I’ve been telling my friends in Akron, Ohio, about it, since it sounds like such a great opportunity to bring revenue to Ohio.

So especially if PlusOne Communications has hired you, or if you know the real deal about pay scales and work hours and such, please leave a comment and let us inquiring minds know.

    Thanks so much…

  12. I haven’t been down to the new PlusOne Communications at 1115. S. Main Street, but reports say “the new company has had hundreds of people wait in line to apply for jobs.”

If anyone knows a phone number or contact email for PlusOne Communications, please leave a comment!

And if anyone has been down to 1115 S. Main Street recently to find out whether or not they are still taking applications, please leave a comment, too. Thanks!

In the meantime, check here for the most recent news reports about PlusOne Communications hiring in Akron.

The most recent reports I see still say the PlusOne Communications company said it projects to have up to 1,500 employees in 15 months.

  13. When do they get back to you about a job? I was in one of the first three days of hiring and never got a call back. Do they have a number where I could follow up?

  14. Computer and mathematical applications. It is multiple choice and quite simple. 70 questions 7 sections.

  15. I would like to know if there is a way you can apply for positions online. I am very computer literate and am sure that I would be an asset to your company. Also, I live so close to that area, I could practically walk to work when the weather is unbearable. Please either email me or give me a call @ (330) 762-0951. I will be awaiting your call. I have over 30 years of office, customer service, etc. experience. You would not be dissappointed in my performance, office attire, or how I present myself to the public. Thanks for your time, Linda D. Edwards

  16. You may apply M-F 9am-2pm I believe….it may be longer hours but I know you can come in at least at these times. You don’t pick up an application. You must first take a test to be sure if you’re eligible for the job and then you fill out the application and set an interview date. If you do not pass the first time, I believe they give you a window for a second chance.

  17. What are the hours and days that you can apply? Is there a web site that we can post our resume?

  18. This will hopefully work out to better the area and provide a large number of jobs to unemployed people. Should have listed date and time when the applications are available though.

  19. What are the hours of operation to pick up an employment application? Thank you.
