It’s a shame people like this are even considered “leaders in our country.” Regardless of your personal opinion Congressman (which have no facts to support them), have the decency to keep your comments to yourself while his family is mourning. hello he was accused not convicted. Michael Jackson and his family deserve that respect. i don’t belive michael is any of that i believe he was just a famous and talented guy that someone just wanted money off of him by telling a lie. i guess it is hard to belive there are nice people in this world. i belive pete just wanted publicity. michael seemed like he was a sweet and really nice person who had hard times in his life like everyone else. try not to look at the bad about a person and focus on the good. when people wach the news do you look for something good or bad? yeah! soldiers die EVERYDAY!!!!!!! and we have been aknowleging that EVERYDAY FOR EIGHT LONG LONG YEARS!!!!!!!! michael jackson just died have some respect. he’s done alot for the people he’s conrtibuted to alot of charities he’s touched alot of lives. pete king must be a pedophile hisself he’s no perfect he’s cheated on his wife. and since when did he care about celebrities isn’t he supposed to be worried about his job. and it’s not just the black community grieving it’s all across the world. peter king is a prejudice A-Hole that has nothing else better to do than to focus on whats apparrent commenting on issues he knows nothing about. Was he there when these so called accusations were made against Michael Jackson? No ones life is picture perfect I’m quite sure if you start digging into mr. kings past and present we could make another video with all his skeletons dancing to A-holes life! i belive pete king is a racist. what goes around comes aroung you dog!. he was proved innocent i have never doubted michael i never thought the accusations were true.Get this Jerk out of congress and charge him with slander. peter king is pathetic. its guys like him that make the rest of us not want to dare vote for a republican in office.

they want to tote the “innocent until proven guilty” garbage and say our system is great. but then when a black guy is acquitted they still say he is guilty even though the law said they were innocent (case in point: michael jackson AND oj simpson).

if people dont like the media coverage then they dont have to watch it. i liked some of MJs songs. but i dont care too much for the coverage, so you know what? i dont watch the channels doing it. there are many ways to get your news…so there is no reason to bitch in my opinion about the coverage.

and then the whole thing about how we should be honoring those in the army who died. well for starters, most of them chose to be in the army, they knew the risks of that. and on top of that, why do people only say this when we are mourning the death of a celebrity? in 365 days a year, they never bother to make mention of this (even though we do have a Memorial Day), but they try to guilt you out of mourning a celeb..but you know what? why dont you say this before a celeb dies, why is it you do it after? let me guess, its because you dont want to spend time mourning, and you dont want to see people mourn someone you dont like…

creeps like this peter king guy, hate MJ, cause he was eccentric and different, and an easy target to slander. in my eyes those that say he was a molester, prove to me how pathetic excuse of a human they are, they need to admit that they have no real reason to hate poor MJ.

i dont like republicans, i really dont. they are some of the biggest hypocrites in this country.

s been several REPUBLICAN legislators CONVICTED of bribery and they are all being let off for technicalities… all while this “leader” ignores the court’s decision and goes after Michael.

Why doesn’t the real pervert-er of the system go after corrupt Congressmen, do something to STOP killing people for “weapons of mass destruction” that don’t exist and stop imprisoning people for smoking pot.

This Congressman, Peter King is the REAL PERVERT of the will of the people. I believe that Michael Jackson will be treated much better that this piece of human waste on judgment day.

Finally, someone with the courage to tell the truth about Mr. Jackson. I liked Mr. Jackson as an entertainer. His music is a memorable part of my life, but please people. He was a very emotionally damaged man with some character flaws. Turning yourself white and living in Neverland only with children is more than a tad nuts. But was he so bad that you can not even tell the truth about him? I get a bit tired of people calling others a racist when any black person is challenged or critisized. Many people agree with Representative King-mainly that the media event around Mr. Jackson’s death is out of control, and people like Mr. Sharpton are once again taking advantage of a sad situation to put themselves in the limelight. Thank goodness for Rep. King who has spoken the truth. This absurd media event can not be over soon enough.

This Pete King is an @%%. Firstly, Michael Jackson DID NOT molest anyone. He was never found guilty of any wrong doing. Why? because there was none and there was never evidence of any wrong doing. Just because he was different than these freaks out there who were threatened by him (figuratively) they trumpt up charges that they more than likely are guilty of to make him the scapegoat. Well, I have loved MJ from the very second his little face turned up on the TV and his angelic voice hit the air waves. I feel as if he is a soulmate of mine. I have now cried for 11 days straight and cannot even sleep without Michael owning my dreams. His dance and song are all encompassing. He is such a genius. And then, also, never mind all the good the Michael has done, giving millions to charities all over the world. In his own words ” I would rather slit my wrists than harm a child!” This jerk Pete “what the $#%^” can’t even speak English (Wantaur) what the heck is that? Oh, did he mean “Wantagh”? Jerk jerk jerk. And have you noticed, it is always a republican (or so it seems) that cries “pervert, freak, pedophile”?!!! Peter King has made racist comments against blacks in the past. I’m half black, and I identify as black. As a people, we blacks should not be offended by him. I don’t remember Peter King being a humanitarian/philanthropist. I don’t remember him donating money to 3rd world countries. But this is how most white people are–they call MJ a pedophile, yet they can’t back it up. The 2nd accuser just said “MJ never touched me,” and if someone molested my child, I wouldn’t accept millions of dollars.

As usual the people out there in LA LA land missed the point Peter King was making. He was pointing out we “idolize” and look up to entertainers who sorry to say fall very short of our expectations. But we ignore or forget the real heroes of our country which are the men and woman fighting for our right to speak and the mothers and fathers raising kids. It always amazes me when black, who by the way are his biggest critics when he was alive…making fun of his skin color and music. I mean he was the “king of pop” which is “white man music. Any of u go to a Micheal jackson concert? If ur black probaly not, It was 90-95% white. Black people will always make an excuse to why one of thier own is gargage. Was he a pedophile. Well he paid over 20 million for the first one to go away and well he was found not quilty in a LA courthouse. Real realible…O.J.Simpson and Robert Blake. Also on a video he admitted letting children sleep in his bed. Micheal Jackson without a doubt one of the most talent entertainers EVER. But just becuase he’s dead, let’s not forget our reactions and the butt of jokes about him. It’s hypocritical.

This is to Rita. Rita your comment seems unfair as well as Congressman King. Michael was tried by his peers and found not guilty. Yet he is still criticized (by the way Rita, learn how to spell criticized). Congressman Peter King probably supports soldiers coming home killing their spouses.

Everybody has to pay their dues one day. Let the judging be done in heaven. We only know what we hear if we aren’t there.

I am totally disgusted by the comments made by Congressman King. He should have kept his feeling to himself as it is very disturbing to think this man is a US Congressman!
You don’t have to like Michael Jackson or condone his lifestyle, but number one, he was found innocent by the jury in court, that should be the end of that!! Since when have our politicians made public judgements after one has been found innocent? Would he have done so if it had been a white republican man? I am a white woman that was raised in the south, and I don’t think so!
Number two, he showed no respect what so ever to the Jackson family or to those poor children who obviously love their father and are suffering now. How dare him for being so callous and evil!
Number three, Michael Jackson meant a great deal to billions of people around the world and he should have at least have respect for those who loved him.
Number four, Nelson Mandella, Barack Obama, and numerous other well known and accomplished people cared and respected this family and their tragedy. At least he could have kept his mouth shut.
Number five, anyone that doesn’t care about the feelings of a vast number of people around the world, shouldn’t hold a public office.
Number six, it is obvious this man is a bigot and prejudice!
I am disgusted and wonder how much Peter King has done for race relations and for charities around the world.
Congressman King should ask forgiveness of the family, friends and fans of Michael Jackson and then he should ask forgiveness of God for doing his job of judging. Even Jesus didn’t do that!

Unfortunately, there are still uneducated professionals in this world like Peter King and those who refuse to believe the truth…I’m a regular person but i have brains more advanced than these people…Firstly, they don’t get the fact that Michael wasn’t raised normally the way we perceive normal upbringing would be…So after working so hard for so long, he felt he deserved to revisit his childhood at a time when he was finally free to experience it again…would you think his adult business partners or doctors would play ‘hide and seek’ with him? come on now…As we can see…he loved kids and spoke eloquently about the joy kids bring him. About his SKIN COLOR…i feel sorry that they were deprived of watching Oprah’s existing interview about MJ explaining his “VITILIGO” they need to buy a dictionary to learn more about it and shut up.
