So I’ve owned the PaulaNealMooney.com domain name for several months now, and just had it redirected to the blog that started it all, my PaulaMooney.BlogSpot.com blog.

However, Google has penalized that blog so that I don’t rank for my most popular posts anymore. Plus, Google dropped that PageRank from 5 to 4 to 3, so I figured it was high time to get the PaulaNealMooney.com domain up and running on WordPress – which is better about getting me traffic anyway.

So stayed tuned for much more, and check out my other blog for the history of me…

Nice new site Paula. Now you can give me SEO tips for Wordpress.

Like how do you put RSS feeds and tags on this bad boy? A couple of tips I was given in the past weren’t easy to follow and the tag feaure had to be added to each post as opposed to being a default option.

I am reading up on my XHTML and CSS for artistic purposes so I can share those types of hints in a while.

wordpress rock right? i using wordpress for 2 year now and i happy with wordpress script. seo friendly and easy to use.

Thanks, Marty – Yeah, I just find WordPress to be naturally better at SEO — the URLs are longer.

Just make sure to use the cutom URLs in WP…I’ll write up a post about it soon.

Hi Paula,
How come Google’s been penalizing you? I understand you are not the only one, any idea what’s going on?
I’ve been trying to get my head around Wordpress for a couple of months with not much success :-) at – http://www.financialmites.com – it all seems so weird and unnecessarily impenetrable !
Congratulations on the excellent sites – is envy one of the 7 deadly sins ?

Nice to see you back. It’s good you’ve got the custom URLs working over there at Financial Mites.

You might want to consider switching to the Adsense Minded Wide Theme, I love that one!

And try your hand at a niche site that’s in high demand. I think there are so many “Making Money Online” sites out here.

And add the YouTube Google Adsense ads on your site. The one on mine about “Watching TV Online” is getting a lot of clicks and making good money.

Yes that seems the way whenever you rank well your targeted by the google staff that snipe terms when you build a traffic base in search.

Had it just happen to me.

Ranked extremely well then now penelized for what? Ranking well with a adsense website.

They just don’t want to pay publishers it looks good on paper but in reality the math doesn’t work.
