Oprah featured the Flip camcorder video camera on her show today. I have one (with a red cross painted on the camcorder to distinguish it from my husband’s) and I often carry it with me to catch “YouTube-able” moments.

Then when I finally get to it, I come home and upload the videos thru my PC — if you have trouble plugging up the USB code in the front of your PC, try plugging it in the back — that’s what my husband figured out works. We just remove the printer USB cord and pop in the camcorder like on Oprah, then plug it back up.

It lets you upload a video, plus it give you an image in JPG file format of the first scene you shoot. So it’s cool, like right now I need to upload my daughter’s birthday party video and picture to print out for her baby book.

Then you can upload the video to either YouTube or Google Video to share with your family across the world — or just use their own software that came with mine. It’s a good little camcorder.

To be honest, my one-shot camcorder video camera is easy to use — but the video quality is not that of a more pricey camcorder, obviously. But it gets the job done and it is SO easy to use that my 4- and 6-year-olds use it.
