Offerpal and SuperRewards Scams – Customer reports of being ripped off by Offerpal and SuperRewards
TechCrunch just put up a follow-up post to two other scams I hadn’t heard of: Offerpal and SuperRewards.
They ask an interesting question as to when federal regulations will come down on scammers like these — and include feedback from a couple of major players, including Markus Frind of Plenty of Fish writing about how he was offered millions of dollars to participate in the scam, but he’s thankfully refused.
It’s amazing that some of those scams are charging users a total of $1 million per day!
