Obsessed TV Series on A&E TV – Here’s New Obsessed TV Show Videos…
There’s a new TV show on A&E TV called Obsessed (watch videos here) about OCD people checking stuff for 4 1/2 hours, like one woman did, checking alarm clocks, stoves, not driving on the highway and stuff after her father died in a highway car crash.
With therapy, the woman can now drive on the freeway — she was in therapy for about a year and a half.
Cognitive behavioral therapy combined with exposure to the fear therapy got her back on the freeway — facing her fear in small increments to help her get back in the 12 to 15 week process.
The woman also had the tendency of wearing her dead father’s last bloodied clothes, which she eventally burned.
Obsessed TV Show Also Shows Scott, a Man Who’s Really Clean…
…and said his house is so sterile that you could nearly operate in his room.
He would get up for school at 4 a.m. because he had so much to take care of in life.
Scott is a germaphobe.
Dr. Shana Doronn, Scott’s therapist, explained that OCD is an anxiety disorder who did one of the most extreme things: taking a sanitary pad, wrapping it in a towel and make him hold it to his face so that he could experience his exteme fears.
Obsessed airs Monday night at 10 p.m. on A&E.
