No Zhu Zhu Pets Recall – But Walmart Not Allowed to Sell Some Zhu Zhu Pets Stock
I was surprised to see someone searching for “Zhu Zhu Pets recall” and they landed on one of my posts about the Zhu Zhu Pets, which a woman just commented on that her local WalMart wasn’t allowed to sell her the Zhu Zhu pets toys till Black Friday or something.
But I found this article, which says the Zhu Zhu Pets have not been recalled.
I don’t know where that rumor started.
But it did say they are holding the Zhu Zhu Pets and not going to sell them to customers until perhaps Sunday, November 8, 2009.
Not sure what’s true — so leave a comment with your experiences at buying Zhu Zhu Pets from your local WalMart stores so we can learn the truth.

don’t put it on your head. don’t chew on it. if you don’t put it on your head and in your mouth you’re safe! also don’t touch then put your hands in your mouth. stupid idea. if you don’t act stupid with the zhu zhu pet then your fine… i followed these steps with my 6 zhu zhu pets and i’m ALIVE and FINE!
zhu zhu pets are fine. 2009, i got 2 for Christmas. then went and bought another one that day… 2010, for Christmas i got 3 more zhu zhu pets and everything’s FINE. they had a lot of zhu zhu pets at Walmart and they still do. i don’t get what the problem is here.
I just wanted to say that if anyone tried to buy the castle before the official release date (nov28) of the item it would show up sale not allowed. I work at a walmart and for the life of me i cannot figure out why every other store kmart, target, toysrus has loads of zhu zhu pets and we havent got stock in since black friday?!? i wanted that dumb castle too…my kid keeps asking for it but no way am i paying an arm and a leg on ebay been to 3 local walmarts and DD may have to wait until after christmas and hope they get it in then
I was at Walmart in East Meadow,NY on November 27 or 28 and brought a zhu zhu castle to the rregister. The register came up with a notice that they could not sell the castle. No one knew why. It was assumed that the item was recalled. I now find that it wasn’t recalled and I really really want it. It was a good price. They no longer have it.
I don’t know where else to leave this comment but maybe some would be interested to know here. I think Walmart comes up most frequently when talking about zhu zhu sales because I really do think Walmart plays the biggest part in marketing and sales of the toys. A customer service rep. at the zhu zhu toy company tells me that only walmart has a limited quantities of the new products for a special sale now, and that the rest of the supply will be out in march. Walmart has much control over this company and influence on it’s marketing team. I am sure they pick the release date together to see how sales fly. I think it’s aweful to release just a few before christmas and make people go nuts, and then release the rest in march, whether this be the toy company or walmart. I think people shouldn’t fall into the trap of buying these from the people who sell them for triple of what they are worth on amazon and such, and let them sit with them til the rest come out!

ugh, I too went to walmart a week ago, and they had the princess carriage for 10.00 on sale! I didn’t even really know that it was a new item, I just thought, this is cool, and cheap! But yes, the lady wouldn’t sell it to me at all! I should have gone over her head but, I didn’t want to make a fuss. Now I am kinda irritated at the false advertising, and hoarding of walmart. Why lie and say there is a recall. Evidently there is no recall on these as Amazon is now selling them for double the price, and now ebay hoarders will probably sell them for triple. Shame on Walmart for not honoring the sales of the things they have on their shelves.
Thats funny that you say that “best dad”, because I went today to start my christmas shopping and found 2 of the castles behind a few other zhu zhu pets items, I grabbed one and when I went to check out, it showed up as an error, the cashier did something and it rang up for 20… I am glad to tell you that they will have all the princess themed out on the 28th of november though, so get there fast as they will be gone!
Walmart in my town had the zhuzhu pets princess castle on the floor. When I got to the register, I was told there was a recall on it, and it was a no sale item. After reading the post here, I contacted the manager of the store who told me that they were not allowed to release the toy until a certain date or the store would be fined. There are fines for this….for real?
oh ya sorry forgot to say i made the bed in a tiny bin with lots of scarves. I didnt buy one cuz i think the blanket won’t fit right. anyway sorry just figured you might like to know that.
They are definatly safe. I have one and I love it. I have a little bed for mine and my little brothers. They are so cute. if anyone tells you they are not safe tell them to grow a pair. Just because your hair gets tangled once doesn’t mean its a death trap, or that it should be recalled.
Someone Please Tell Me It’s Very Important That I Know and My friend got heart problems from it but are they safe now

i went to our wallmart in beatrice nebraska and there are a ton of them.they are back in the toy section and there is quite a variety of them.i got my kiddo the one that she has forever wanted…..chunk(the plain old white one).when she talks loudly,its like it responds to her!!!!!!!!she loves it with all her heart…..proof,she talks to it about her feelings like its her best friend,sleeps with it on the bed,she even has her favorite spot blocked off in her room just so chunk has room to “run” and “play”.its incredible how it reacts.the first thing you might need to know,is to NOT put it near your hair while it is going off.one of my freinds’ daughter put it on her head and she had to cut it out of her hair so she now has a bald spot.another thing is that it has 3 buttons.the one on the back makes it go,go,go!and there is one you cant see but it is around the middle of the ears.it makes it do all kinds of noises.the one on the nose does something quite amazing.if your zhu zhu is just running around and its nose hits something,it will react and sometimes it will even say,”OUCH”.well, that is all the information about zhu zhus right now. see ya!

I am shame of you people I thought you would learn by now that you are supposed to be good salesmen but are you no! you are LAME salesmen! DON’T EVER DO THIS AGAIN!!!!
i bought 5 zhu zhu pets and they are great for anal sex and i also like to place them in my pants as i watch tv and stroke them on myself
i dont know who rote as miley up top but im noea’s big sister and i do love zhu zhu pets
