I’m starting to research scams a lot lately, and looking into the ads that show up on my website and other websites — that’s how I found MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com, and couldn’t help but start to wonder if MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com is a scam.
With rhetoric like “Make Money, Work From Home, 2 Hours A Day! – My Revolutionary System Will Have You Earning $2500 – $5000 Per Week” on MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com’s description I couldn’t help but think: SCAM!!!!
So I popped over to the website but MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com doesn’t give you any up front prices that I can see — my number one pet peeve and red flag with scammer website, second only to the hyperbole about claiming you can make so much money with a “secret” system online.
Everything you need to know about making money online is already mostly online — for free…
…at places like ProBlogger.com or JohnChow.com or other places, if you want to do the research. Yes, of course, they sell books and information too, but they are some of the more reputable guys out there who don’t promise you the moon and stars.
MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com also wants too much up front info — not only my name and phone number but also my email address, too.
Plus, their “about” page returns an error.
So who’s behind MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com and where’s he getting the money to run all these Google Adwords ads?
I did a Google search on “MyMakeMoneyBusiness.com” and it returned 38,500 results — so this guy or gal is getting their site’s name out there, probably thru promises of fast, big money.
But my guess is that it’s a scam because where is this person getting the money to run these Google ads, which aren’t cheap.
