Michael Jackson Islamic Funeral? Christian? Jehovah’s Witness?

I saw an interesting question on Mahalo: What does Jermaine Jackson say about Jackson’s Islamic funeral? I thought to myself: Huh? Well, I guess we’ll all see on Tuesday what undertones of “religion” or “spirituality” — I hate those euphemisms — Michael Jackson’s funeral contains.

Of course, for all of us praying that Michael Jackson died knowing Jesus the Messiah, we’re hoping for some Psalm 23 up in that mug or something. We fervently want to know that his soul was okay.

Yet people are writing about Jermaine Jackson’s conversion to Islam in the 80s, and there’s scuttlebutt and rumors of an Islamic burial.

We’ll really only know the truth of where Michael Jackson’s soul lies when those of us who are in the Lamb’s Book of Life get there…

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. John 3:16

So will he go to hell if he is burried as a muslim?

God alone knows who has accepted Jesus as Messiah; and He alone has the power to send people to heaven or hell.

This [Jesus] is the Stone which was despised and rejected by you, the builders, but which has become the Head of the corner [the Cornerstone].

And there is salvation in and through no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by and in which we must be saved.

Acts 4:11-12

JW’s believe according to the Scriptures that ‘the soul that is sinning, it itself will die.’ Since we all since then our souls die. What happens then? If our heart condition, which is determined by God alone, is good then he will keep that individual in his memory and resurrect them either to a heavenly reward (144,000 select ones) or an earthly paradise (greater flock) which will be established on earth after God does a little house cleaning. The salvation of the individual does most definately depend on their acceptance of Jesus Christ as Messiah. This is good news and according to Matthew 24:14 this information will be preached in all the inhabited earth before the end. So if a JW knocks on your door invite them and ask the questions you want to know. They will provide you answers straight out of the Bible. MJ would want you to do this I am sure.

Only God decides who will go to heaven or hell, no matter what his faith.
