I just got off the phone with a friend who told me about this blog post (Update: I see the Mary Mary blog has been deleted — making me think that was never Mary Mary in the first place) on a Mary Mary fan blog claiming that gospel great Andrae’ Crouch and his twin Sandra met with Michael Jackson only three weeks before his death — writing that Michael Jackson asked Andrae’ Crouch to play It Won’t Be Long [Then We'll Be Leaving Here]
This is the statement that is being attributed to Mary Mary:
“Last night we received some good news from Terri McFaddin-Solomon who is good friends with Sandra Crouch. Three weeks ago Sandra and Andre’ spent some time with their close friend, Michael Jackson. Michael asked Andre` to play, “It Won’t Be Long And We’ll Be Leaving Here.” Michael then prayed with Sandra and Andre and accepted Christ into his heart. Now he’s singing in the heavenly choir.! Our hearts rejoice!”
Thank you to the person who commented, leading me to this YouTube video with Andrae Crouch talking about Michael Jackson raising his hands and trembling during one time when the Holy Spirit was present and Crouch did an altar call while singing “I Surrender All” — he didn’t say Michael Jackson came up, but he said MJ was really affected and said he’d never seen anything like that:
I also see the same statement on Mary Mary’s Facebook page — which says it is their official Facebook page, and I hope that’s really true.
I’ve seen more than my share of Internet rumors, fake “official” pages and the like, so I’m approaching this with a cautious and hopeful eye.
I really pray that major news magazines interview Andrae’ Crouch soon and very soon!
…because the reporter in me knows that if Andrae’ Crouch really was one of the last people to see Michael Jackson — and touch him no less! — and pray with him at that! — a mere 21 days before Michael Jackson died, well, that’s a major news story. (Keep checking the most recent Google News’ reports here about Andrae’ Crouch, and lets all of us saints pray that this story is real and grows legs.)
So my first order of research business was to make sure Andrae Crouch actually made a song called “It Won’t Be Long” — since I only remember “Soon and Very Soon” from my grade-school days — and lo and behold, yes, Andrae Crouch made that song here:

Okay, so further research led me to examine Andrae’ Crouch’s Facebook page, with posts reportedly written by Dave, the fan page administrator, who says he got the following information about Michael Jackson praying with them about Jesus — this was allegedly related thru someone named Verdine Parker, who is listed here as a contributor on Andrae’ Crouch’s “Mighty Wind” CD, and needs prayer according to that Facebook page that says this about Michael Jackson and the sinner’s prayer and Christianity:
According to Andrae’ [Crouch], who was relaying to Verdine [Parker] to tell [Dave, Andrae' Crouch's Facebook fan page administrator] over the phone just now, Andrae’ and Sandra [Crouch] did in fact visit with Michael Jackson 2 times, once ar [sic] the recording studio, and once at his home in the last 2 months, as recently as 3 weeks ago, asking for prayer concerning the anointing of the Holy Spirit, and how he could make his music more “spiritual”, so Andrae’ and Sandra explained to him about the “anointing” and about Jesus. He wanted to know what makes your hands go up, and makes you “come out of yourself”, and what gives a “spirituality” to the music? He then requested to hear his favorite song that he loves, and wanted then to sing to him, so they sang that song to him, and joined hands and sang together, and he said, “it was beautiful”…
..He first heard it in NY, and loved it, and wanted it on tape. He had the engineer tape the song sang to him by Andrae’ and Sandra. He definitely had an “encounter” with them, Andrae’ says, “he did NOT reject Jesus or the prayer when they prayed, and gladly joined in prayer.” He usually doesn’t touch anybody, but he touched them, and held their hands in a circle as they sang and prayed…
…There was NO actual “sinners prayer” however, but they did talk and pray about Jesus and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They also told him, “Michael, we consider you as our son”, and he said, “Yes, yes, yes”, and he gave him his latest music on a CD, and he told him, “Andrae’ I trust you with this”, and gave him CD’s of 2 songs, unpublished, …beautiful music. He still had his Christmas decorations up at home.
So there you have it…was Michael Jackson really saved?
God I hope so. You can tell from my sidebar this was the year for me reading about revelations of hell, and I didn’t want to picture the boy I’ve watched since I was a 6-year-old anywhere near there. Listening to his songs these past few days have brought me to how deeply and severely talented Michael Jackson was — what a gift to draw millions with that inexplicable good gift that only heaven can bestow. And that falsetto voice was spiritual, too, with his mention of “the River Jordan” and the like. I just didn’t know where he stood on Christ. Still don’t totally know, but feel better than I did last night about it, knowing (believing, hoping, praying) those visits about 21 days before MJ died were ordered by our Maker.
In all the tributes showing people dancing in the streets and tears and sobbing and rejoicing and clucking at watching Jermaine Jackson telling Allah to be with Michael in this video, I couldn’t help but think about Michael Jackson’s soul — knowing that God had touched him to touch so many people.
I pray that in all this melee, Michael Jackson really did trust Jesus as the Messiah and heeded the Lily of the Valley’s words and commands and beliefs and beauty:
“Jesus answered him, “I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke 23:43
That’s where I pray that Michael Jackson is, with Jesus right now. I looked up at the sky and wondered and pondered and imagined…
And all the child molestation accusations — whatever happened, if Michael Jackson honestly repented and fell on the rock before it shattered on him, God is faithful to forgive. Yeshua died as all the vile things we are: robbers, rapists, drug abusers and the like, I heard one guy say so eloquently who had committed maybe some of the same sins Michael Jackson did.
Jesus took it on that night in the Garden of Gethsemane when he prayed for the cup of suffering to pass but took it like a valiant Savior anyway. Anyone who denies the torture Rabboni took for us tries to make a mockery of the cross. Those who accept it, our Father knows. Let’s pray we will make it to heaven and see MJ there some day.

Jesus was hanging between two thieves. One repented the other one scoffed.

Also, Michael’s death was ruled a homicide….aka murder. Michael was not abusing drugs. The official autopsy showed no signs of substance abuse nor damage to Michael’s internal organs.
Michael’s body is dead, but his spirit is alive. Michael’s spirit is alive becase Jesus shed his blood for the sins of the world. Jesus has victory over death, hell and the grave. Those who believe in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Because of the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, the physical body dies but the soul is free and alive forevermore.
Jesus said…….I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? (john 11:25-26). The dead know nothing. the dead in Christ are alive and well aware of everything. If you die without Jesus you will sleep in the dust until after the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ on earth. If you die in Christ you go to the place prepared personally by Jesus for His believers….details in John Chapter 14 (KJV).
As for the 144 thousand. THose are 12000 Israeli men from each of the 12 tribes of Israel (12Kx12=144K) of who will envangelize the world for Jesus Christ during the 7 year tribulation period.
As for resurrection: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Humans and angels are not the same at all. humans and angels are not interchangable. Mankind was created in God’s image….a living soul. I prayed for years for Michael with alot of tears. I felt a kinship with him as I also grew up JW. I had I believe a God given love for him that came from Lord Jesus who wants so much to touch our lives and hearts if we call upon His Name and invite Him into our hearts and lives. He truly is the only way, truth and life [John 14:6], and it gives me great hope to hear Michael was being drawn to Lord Jesus. My understanding with the drugs it was for such pain he lived with and inability to sleep, and not just for fun..and anyone who has not lived with chronic pain has no idea what they are talking about, and if we judge harshly in these matters God may allow us a similar experience to make us more compassionate towards others sufferings. I truly hope my prayers for Michael were answered. I sincerely loved him with the Love of Jesus [1 John 4:7]

Michael was God’s most beautiful creation. He is the brightest star and sweetest angel in heaven. I am sure that Michael believed in Jesus and accepted him as his Savior as he spoke of Jesus many, many times in his life. He was as close to being Jesus-like as anyone else I can think of. Michael has suffered so cruelly during his life because of the deeds of others, but I pray with all my heart that he has now found peace and will be with the Lord for all eternity. I love you and miss you so very, very much, sweet Michael.
I have heard this about MJ and other people in the public eye. All one can do is to pray for them. This is something that is between GOD and Michael even now to this day. We who have listened to his music liked him and of course would not want to see him NOT saved, but saved and in peace. Along with other people in our lives. And this goes to show, no matter how much money you make….or how well you are known to the world,or how much talent. Without the LORD you are nothing… not whole.If you do not know JESUS (and do not want to) as your personal savior…you have made your choice. I made mine as to accept JESUS as my savior, and I am ever so grateful for all of the suffering he has done for me to make a way into heaven. My heart reaches out to this man. Not because he was a celebrity, but because he had God on his side his whole life. There were interviews of Michael saying he loves God. He would say God Bless You to almost about everyone he seen that was nice to him. I’ve heard he even would say oh God, that’s beautiful over the wings of a Butterfly. I honestly haven’t heard of a human being this gentle.
He had explained why he loved children so much. He says that JESUS said, ” Have a Childs Heart, Not to be a Child, but to have a Childlike Spirit.” This was found in the Bible. I’m not sure what verse but it’s true. I feel that Michael had a close relationship with Jesus before he known Jesus as his Savior. Otherwise why wouldn’t he have had the gentle, loving and kindly hearted Spirit that he had before he past? I have a storng connection with Michael. Even know I didn’t know him, I feel I did in a sense of heart and soul. He has inspired everyone to be more Gentle and Loving.
This is by far his best song, well one of my favorites. “Keep The Faith” and he sings about keeping your faith and not letting people get you down. Because he wrote this song and he was meaning himself also. He’d say Keep It Brother and Keep It Sister. It was very touching.
He sang Gospel also… Not that many though but we must learn to love what he made of them… Change the world had Jordins River in it.
So then he had the urge to want to know what makes your life pop out of you and what makes you jump and what makes you cry and sing praise. So they helped him and prayed and he knew Jesus in his heart. I trust in Lord Jesus Christ that he is up there with the lord Jesus … Because if we all are true Christians we should be sure that Michael is with him… Maybe he’s teaching Jesus to moonwalk… Jesus can already do that though… Tee hee. Paula, I believe that Michael is in heaven. There are many secret believers even right now. It’s sad to see them being secret, however, I believe they would still fulfil God’s purpose for their lives.

I know this may sound crazy, but please read Acts 2:17-18, before you judge me as crazy. I am not a Michael Jackson fan. Don’t get me wrong, I think he was very gifted, but I don’t ever give him much thought. I happened upon this website because I had an AMAZING dream that I believe that I am supposed to share with you.. In my dream, Micheal shows up at my work and we chat. I notice that his face and hair look very natural. He looks like himself, but very natural. He does not have any bodyguards, so I say to him, “Do you mind me asking why you do not have any bodyguards?” He replies, “I trust in God.” I reply “AMEN!” and feel overjoyed. Michael seemed to be confident and at peace. Later in my dream, his manager finds me and asks me to join them at a party because Michael wants me to write the truth about his life. And this was my dream. I happened upon this blogsite because my sister told me that she had heard about Andrae Crouch’s testimony and that he was with Michael a few weeks before he passed. I feel like God is telling me to let you know that he is with Him. Perhaps, what Andrae saw in Michael that day was Michael giving his heart to the Lord. Maybe, God took Michael when he was ripe, he spared Michael any future attacks from the enemy of the soul. I don’t know for sure, but this dream left a very strong impression on my soul. Since he was little, MJ was very religious. Later, when he left Jehova´s witnesses, he gave some interviews telling that he wanted to imitate Jesus in the innocence of children, and he cited the Bible. Many of his songs have letters that speak about spirituality (Will you be there, earthsong, speachless, we are the world, etc). In 2005 he gave another interview to Geraldo saying that he believed in God, and that he wanted to gain God´s smiles by doing good. Finally, in “This is It” video, he always says “God Bless you” to the people. I have no doubt he is in Christ and God´s home.

I pray he was saved, I believe God truly does all he can to save each person but ultimately the choice is ours. It sounds, from what I am reading, that Michael was at least open and searching for God and god promises that those who look for him with all their heart will find him so we have to realize God is loving and merciful but he allows us to decide. Even if MJ was guilty of child molestation, we know he was robbed of his childhood,no excuse, and not saying he was a molester but even IF he was God can forgive if Mj turned to him. That is the hope we all have, that while we were yet sinners, christ loved us and died for US and OUR sin so we can go to be with HIM Thank you JESUS!!!!! and for his precious blood, he made a way for the worst sinners!!!! He has compassion, love, mercy and forgiveness if we just give our life to him and let him help us to be what he wants us to be! HE has a plan and a purpose for each one of us! HE loves us, doesn’t want us to to go to Hell. I know I for one am not perfect, I struggle and have done wrong and many times have to go to God and plead the blood of Jesus. And we know by his word that Jesus is at the right hand of God interceding for us! and if God be for us, who can be against us! So with all this scripture and more, I truly believe God will do all he can to save us, he loves us! but we still have a decision to make, to accept him or reject him.
Can I say for certain MJ was saved? I dont know for certain, only God really knows for sure but I am certain God was reaching out to him and by the sounds of it, MJ was open for it, so I believe there is hope that MJ went to be with the Lord.

1. Being a celebrity (Idol) is many times if not all times, decietful & destructive. Who can live up to everyones expectations. God is the one to be focused upon, adored and worshiped!

2.Everyone needs Jesus as savior! God made him as a way, a sacrifice for all we dodne wrong (sin) and there is no way to fill the void in the heart, there is a place just for him in there and nothing else fits.
3 We do need to pray for each other and ourselves, as the time draws near, the Devile is working hard to destroy peoples soul! so pray for salvation, sactification, and to kept from all eveil that we made be blameless on that day!
We need his saving and keeping power at all times!
There is more I could say bottom line is, we all need Jesus! whether we know it or not. There are so many things to pull us away from God and we need to be careful!

I hope and pray that this is true…I have been agonizing over this question and hope that he is resting in Heaven with Jesus. He had such a troubled life and I hope that now he finally has the peace that he so desparately desired! I have read reports that he converted to islam this past Nov. and it scared me to think that it was true because there is only one way to Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ, so seeing that they prayed with him 3 weeks before he died gives me hope. If this is true thank You Jesus!

HALLELUYAH. I was SO HAPPY to hear this story as like other people have said, I’d been praying for his salvation for years. When you listen to MJ songs like Will You Be There, Heal the World, Childhood, etc and his other J5 music, you can’t help but have a “spiritual” connection to MJ. Even if he did not repeat the Lords Prayer at that particular moment, he may still have gone to heaven. God is not limited and I learnt this from watching The Lazarus Phenomenon where an Australian man went to heaven just by repeating the Lords Prayer in his unconscious state.Let us not forget that Jesus is Love and he does not desire anyone, even the rich and famous to go to hell. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound…oh, my spirit is so glad right now I’m tearing…may the lord rest his soul in eternal peace!

ALTHOGH I NEVER KNEW MICHAEL JACKSON HE MEANT SOOO MUCH TO ME … HE WAS A LOVELY HUMAN BEING …. A TRUE LOSS !! I AGONIZE OVER THE CONDITION OF HIS SOUL WHEN HE LEFT THIS EARTH AND ENTERED ETERNITY… ETERNITY !! THATS FOR EVER ! NEVER ENDING ! I’M GRIEVING FOR THE LOSS OF THIS WONDERFUL HUMAN BEING …. ESPECIALLY IF HE ENTERED ETERNITY WITH OUT THE ‘LORD ‘! ….. GOD IS LOVE … THATS THE REASON HE WANTS EVRYONE TO KNOW ABOUT HIM AND HIS PLAN OF SALVATION FOR ALL ….
I forgot to add, if you want to know about God, He will reveal Himself to you. Michael clearly was taught about the Lord & I think tried to follow it to the best of his ability (we all have sinned & fallen short of the glory of God). In Romans 1:20 it says that all men are without excuse, because God’s invisible qualities are clearly seen in the earth. If you’re not saved, get saved by calling on the name of Jesus & accepting Him as Lord & Savior of your life!
It is a beautiful thing to see so many people prayed for Michael’s salvation. I can’t say that I have, or I just don’t remember, but celebrities have souls too & God loves them & wants them to be saved. Since his death, I’ve been watching interviews with him & noticed that Michael was not afraid to talk about God. He said he prayed to God & during one interview with Geraldo Rivera dealing with the child molestation accusations, Geraldo asked Michael if he had anything else to say to the public before the interview was over. Michael asked if they would pray for him & his children.
The bible says that if we seek God with all of our hearts, we will find Him. The illustration of Cornelius in the book of Acts shows that he had a love & desire for God, but still did not know Jesus. The Holy Spirit spoke to Peter to go & tell him about Christ in where Cornelius, along with his family joyfully received the gift of the Holy Spirit & was baptized.
Even though Michael did things that weren’t right, just like all of us do, from what I read & hear people say about him, he had a beautiful personality & a love for people, by touching them with the gift that God gave him. God is love & loves people & I believe the Lord gave Michael that ability to love all no matter what background, color, race or creed. It’s something you don’t see too often nowadays. I heard this rumor about him getting saved not too long after he passed away. I hope & pray it’s true. He’s been through so much & I hope he’s resting in peace.

And praise God for having done that for Micheal.
Micheal Gave all he had in every area of his life, he acted in love at all times towards even his enemies, he spoke excellent and priestly things at all times, he gave thanks to GOD for everything he had and he knew much about Jesus and immitated him always…..but didn’t even Jesus get treated pretty much the same?
I am sure when Micheal passed from this earth and stood before God, God said to him, “…Well Done my good and faithful servant”.
There is no such prayer in the Bible about salvation coming off of a prayer. Any human being suffering the tourment and ridicul and accusations in the magnatude this man did would naturally cry out to God. Just because the NEW MEDIA didn’t have that info. Doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. They wouldn’t have aired or printed it anyways. It wouldn’t have fed the sharks. My God is well able to meet you at the Gates of Hell if need be to save you. God loved Micheal and Micheal loved God.
I have been a christian more than 20 years, and in my entire walk I have met NO christian live their life like this. Micheal has been my inspiration to try to be the best I can be. To love unconditionally, to not meet evil for evil, to give, to be kind and meek. HE has been the example I would point out. He was like Jesus in so many ways. We need to do that. I am never saying we should worship any man. And if people did, it was on them, not Micheal, he was humble. Everyone would do good to look up his Oxford Speech. It is a beautiful example of how we all should see things. My heart is truely broken over the terrible things people report and say over such a wonderful human being.
Very few of us even (christians) can hold a candle to Micheal when it comes to how we live our lives.
I am happy tho, because “soon and very soon” we will see him again.
Instead of talking down about people, try praying for them instead.
God will vindicate Micheals accusors. He promises that in HIS word.
May we all try to be like this. Like Jesus.

He forgave his Father in his Oxford speech in 2001 and asked the students to forgive their parents if they were hurt or treated badly by them. By saying that he refered to the Bible and read the commandment of honoring your parents. It shows that Michael learned a lot about forgivenes and the importance of it in the last decades. He indeed had a repentful heart and wanted nothing more than being loved and forgiven…
So two month before he died I also had the impression to pray for him that he will find absolution, peace and salvation. So I have no doubt God did everything possible to save him!
