I notice that some good local Examiners get quotes from one person or more than one person in their city about a national topic — and include that local perspective in their articles about national topics that affect us all in some way.

I just joined Examiner.com and posted my first article. Seeing your videos about earning is one of the main reasons I tried out Examiner.com, but I was wondering, how is the site about posting in your given area? I’ve looked through a number of your posts, including the one you put up today about Mel Gibson, and I can’t see how it relates to Cleveland. Would there be a problem if I wanted to write about a new movie trailer even though it doesn’t specifically relate to my city? I’m sure people here would want to know, but I’m hoping for a wide audience to get as many page views as possible. I just wanted your advice, as many of the posts I see that relate to entertainment don’t relate to a specific area.
