I’m glad I did.
I was miffed at my man for ignoring me during his important Fantasy Football playoff game the night before — so I took Mary and our “Just Fine” selves on my MP3 player to the health club.
Three blissful hours of workout time, with Mary’s “Just Fine” pumping so fast on the elliptical trainer to get me up and moving.
I love the lyrics, I love everything about that song.
When Mary says “I like what I see when I’m looking at me as I’m walking past the mirror,” she’s not saying it out of vanity.
You can tell she’s saying it because she is finally starting to believe that God has made her — and you and me — “just fine.”
