I just watched Lil Wayne on The View (find the video up sooner on YouTube no doubt, than by the time ABC puts the full episode online at ABC.com/TheView) and it was interesting to see how much Sherri Shepherd was into Lil Wayne on The View.
Sherri was bopping to his Lollipop song, and admonishing the 26-year-old Lil Wayne not to call 40-something Sherri “Ma’am” but Lil Wayne said it was the South in him.
Lil Wayne also flashed his diamond braces for the ladies, and Elisabeth asked him naturally if he can brush those things. He also talked about his 10-year-old daughter and 6-month-old son, getting his GED in a short time, then continuing on to college.
At first Lil Wayne went to an actually university campus, but then changed to University of Phoenix online because stuff got too crazy with his celebrity.
The View women were reading his tattoos and Lil Wayne said he still has room in two spaces on his thighs for more.
And finally Elisabeth asked about his affinity for cough syrup and marijuana, whether or not he depended on that “What’s the status?” and Lil Wayne said he doesn’t “depend” on them, he loves smoking, but he depends on God.
