I don’t exactly know why people are searching for Julie Powell divorce right now, because I combed thru “divorce” on Julie Powell’s “What Could Happen?” blogspot blog and only see someone in the comments section mention divorce, not Julie Powell.
But I am excited to see the Julia and Julie movie, which I probably honestly won’t see till it comes out on video — unless I can sneak away with my sissy-boo and see it soon down in Houston.
Sounds like a total, wonderful, makes-you-hungry-and-miss-tipsy-Julia-Childs’ antics type of movie.

The reason people are searching “Julie Powell Divorce” is because there has been some severe questioning of the author’s character. Even Julia Child believe that Powell’s blog was a stunt for publicity and a book deal, since she rarely could describe the end result of her recipes or what she learned. Specifically people are curious about the divorce because Powell’s second book is about her infidelity in her marriage, which she describes in unashamed detail in her second book, and she reveals herself as the heartless scam artist that you can get a sense of in her Julie/Julia blog. Her writing reads of someone just desperate to be published over again, at any cost, even at the feelings of her life partner. Its really sad…and I’m pretty sure “Cleaving” is the last book deal anyone will ever sign with her, since the general public is repulsed by Powell.
