Jason Whitlock, Serena Williams – Jason Whitlock Calls Serena Williams a Size-16 Big Booty Black Woman…

Jason Whitlock is either giving Serena Williams some tough love or is hypocritically attacking Serena Williams in this article he wrote about the tennis star, saying that if the sized-16 Serena Williams would stop tweeting about not being able to eat in the locker room and dropped her 5’9″ frame down to 145 pounds that she’d be better.


Ouch.


Heck, I’m taller than Serena Williams at 5’11″ or so and probably about the same weight as her — muscles weight more that fat, Jason Whitlock! — so this kind of tough talk coming from a brother to a sister stings in a way that it wouldn’t if a white guy said it.

Of course, if a white guy said what Jason Whitlock wrote about Serena Williams…

…on Fox Sports’ website no less, Al Sharpton would’ve already been leading a protest behind MJ’s funeral coverage for his firing.


But since Jason Whitlock said it — lovingly, he claims — what happens now?


I really like Jason Whitlock, especially when he stood up for black women on Oprah’s town-hall shows about rappers dissing us. But I wonder if this piece will inspire Serena Williams to examine any of her own behavior, or just piss off more of us “big bootied black women” who Jason urges not to email him?
