iPhone Verizon, iPhone Verizon, iPhone Verizon in 2009? I’d love it…

The scuttlebutt today is that the Apple iPhone may come to Verizon, use Verizon services, that is, for Apple’s iPhone. While some say the iPhone’s deal with AT&T will last to 2010, and that iPhone Verizon combo dreams won’t occur in 2009 — it would be nice if iPhone can work out a Verizon deal in 2009.
Our family already uses Verizon’s services as our cell phone calling plan — so that would make it super easy to pick up an iPhone as my next new cell phone.
I already scored a great deal on a 16GB iPod Touch last year, and I love it. But like some iTouch users say — it does everything except call people!
So having an iPhone on Verizon services is a step in the right direction, me thinks.
