I haven’t listened to Howard Stern in so long — watch Howard Stern on Letterman video below — ever since my husband and I used to have an hour’s commute from Fairfield, California, down to San Rafael every morning. And a little bit before that in Ohio. But then we stopped listening to the “maggot” as one guy I know called him.
I think Howard Stern has always just been very vunerable and open with his life — and I always hoped Stern and his wife Alison would make it and not break up, but cest la vie. I still remember that dream Howard Stern told Robin Quivers he had that he was lost in the woods and trying to find his family.
