How did DJ AM die? TMZ says crack pipe, prescription drug bottles found where DJ AM dies…

Unfortunately, DJ AM’s death isn’t an internet rumor this time. TMZ is reporting that DJ AM died after what looks like an apparent relapse into the drugs that he’d been sober from for 9 years.


This is so sad. TMZ says that prescription drug bottles and a crack pipe where found at the scene. Further news reports will verify or disprove that in coming days — and I’m sure an autopsy will be performed ASAP.


I feel bad that DJ AM was able to keep sober so long and then the post traumatic stress from the plane crash, coupled with his reaction to a recent break up beguiled him back into the drugs.


God bless his loved ones right now. I can’t imagine how they feel. It’s tragic to die so young this way.
