I just read that Erin Andrews will be on Oprah on September 11, 2009, discussing the infamous hotel room video of Erin Andrews that news reports say Andrews suspects was video shot thru her hotel peephole in her door by possibly a member of her crew — would that be the ESPN camera crew with her or someone else? Maybe Erin Andrews will tell Oprah the latest into that investigation, plus her complaint against that New York newspaper that published the photos of Andrews with just a black bar across certain parts.


Oprah’s got all the good interviews coming up — with Whitney Houston on the premiere episode and everything.


But Erin Andrews on Oprah’s Sept. 11th show will be a doozy too. Maybe she’ll be able to get thru to people the damage situations like this can cause.

Yes, Barbara Walters, people can make money off the Erin Andrews situation…

I was watching The View around the time the Erin Andrews controversy happened, and shook my head when Barbara Walters wondered why people would take videos like this and share them online.


“They can’t make money off of this…” Walters said, and I probably whined back at my TV: “Yes, they can!”

Because a lot of the Erin Andrews video links contained viruses…

Online scammers jumped on the chance to lead horny fools to the Erin Andrews links — so much so that some techie site (or more mainstream site, as it were) reported that people who were downloading that Andrews tape got viruses and malware — the stuff that wrecks computers or downloads keytracking software with the videos so that as soon as the person clicked on their link, they gave the thieves permission to see what they typed in.


Like credit card numbers.


And bank account logins and passwords.


Not good. All over a stupid video that was taken illegally.

Finally, check Oprah’s YouTube channel here, which, like Oprah’s web videos released on her site, are lacking and I hope her team gets the message to just put the darn full episodes of Oprah on Amazon’s Video on Demand at $1.99 a pop so people can just buy the darn things!

Oprah, please listen to your online fans wanting to watch full episodes of your show online instead of working! Just kidding…but seriously, put the full shows online already. It’s the 21st century.
