Chris Brown has finally apologized officially via a TMZ video, saying there was no excuse for what he did to Rihanna.
When I first heard that Chris Brown had said he was sorry, I thought: Great!
But the Today Show criticized Chris Brown for waiting so long to release an apology video, and for Chris Brown releasing his apology video to TMZ — and for it being so well-lit and publicity-stunt-ish.
I don’t know, I haven’t watched the Chris Brown apology video from TMZ yet because my connection is slow right now, but I hope Chris Brown really meant it and is getting helped and changing and growing and moving forward.
Okay, I’m watching Chris Brown haltingly saying he’s accepting full responsibility and that he is sorry.
“What I did was inexcusable…my mother and my spiritual teachers have taught me way better than that,” Chris Brown is saying, wearing some kind of Janet Jackson-Michael Jackson-esque red jacket with pockets to the side.
He’s done soul-searching and realizes that God’s blessed him with such success — good, good, good. I seriously hope Chris Brown moves on to a great role in a great movie that the Lord already has in store for him. Amen.

That was the fakest “apology” I have ever seen!!!
It’s just a pathetically desperate PR attempt for damage-control and is “too little, too late” !!!
This jerk actually refers to his brutal assault of that young girl merely as “the incident” and as “those few moments” and as “what happened” and as “what occured” (as if HIS actions were some ‘cosmic’ incident over which he had no personal control).
Unbelieveable!!
And who cares that he spoke with his “mommy” and his “priest” (or whatever) about what he did or that he ‘grew up in a home where he saw domestic violence’?!
Oh boo hoo for him.
