Chicago Sentinel Home Job Placement Kit SCAM with FinancialTimeNY.com

by Paula Mooney on March 8, 2010

I just discovered some new websites I need to block from showing ads on my site: (Okay, blocked them.)

chicago-sentinel.com
financialtimeny.com

They are pitching some scammy “Home Job Placement Kit” that makes it seem like people can apply to work from home — and they’ve got all the fake testimonials they claim are real.

I see the Terms and Conditions at the bottom of FinancialTimeNY.com redirects to some SamboProsper.com site, then redirects to this:
homejobplacement.org/index-newtest

And that’s where you see a charge for $197.

Hopefully folks aren’t falling for this.

If so, contact your credit card and bank and report it as fraud.
