They do look nice and slim from the photos on Amazon. The technology of these pocket camcorders like the Kodak Zi8 are getting better and better. The screen in the back looks bigger than that of my Flip Camcorder that we got a few years back, around the time Tyra first debuted it on her show.

Will they ever go on sale? Probably…either after the technology becomes a little older and new versions of the Kodak Zi8’s come out. But for now, looks like $179.95 is the price — unless special Amazon coupon codes come out some day on these camcorders.
