My friend Carol told me about this “Boy Interrupted” movie premiering on HBO on August 3, 2009 — about a 15-year-old boy named Evan who killed himself.
She’s just finished the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention “Out of Darkness” walk for 2009, which raised over $1.2 million for suicide prevention and to support families who’ve experienced the horrible heartbreak of someone they love taking their own life.
