Add Your Blog Posts to Google to Increase Website Traffic

Comments (4)

Stop reading and go add each one of your blog posts to Google.

Okay, I’m just kidding about every single one of your blog posts — but I found that submitting each blog post you really want traffic for to Google really helps those posts get indexed in Google faster.

I’d slacked off on doing this, because I’d read that it didn’t matter — especially if you have a sitemap.xml file submitted to Google.

But then I noticed that Google wasn’t indexing those posts as fast.

So I started submitting each blog post I cared about (which should have mostly words in the URL, like this one you’re reading: http://www.paulanealmooney.com/add-your-blog-posts-to-google-to-increase-website-traffic/62/ not like http://myblog.com/blog/p=123) to Google and I noticed my traffic was better directed to the individual post that the person was looking for.

Hey Paula, I love your new blog… especially the fact that it does not crash my hardrive when I open it…

You might want to take some of the graphics off the blogspot page as I am afraid to go there… my ‘puter doesn’t like it.

Hi Paula! I’ll be short. I had just bought a blog & domain a few weeks ago to start blogging on the side. What a blessing because I was laid off Monday 12/5. I was looking for some ideas this morning and ran across your site. I just wanted you to know I think you are a blessing, lots of ideas but down to earth!
Thanks and God Bless!

Quick question Paula.

How much time per day do you blog?

God Bless you for giving so much inspiration.

Thanks Andrea and Kelly for your compliments and tips…I hope this blog helps you make good money online. Sorry to hear about your lay off, Kelly, hope it’s God will pointing you in a more favorable direction.

(And Andrea, I’m cleaning up that Blogger blog!)

Eyeclops -

I’m thinking I blog about 5 hours per day — some days much less, some days more.

Thanks for the blessings,
Paula
